Today we started the course about Personal Environment and Network 2010.
I read several articles and I am translating one of them which I will post tomorrow in this blog.
This first week is centered about the differences between PLEs and PLNs.

The readings this week provide an introduction to PLNs & PLEs. After going through the readings, reflect on the distinctions and similarities between the two terms and concepts. How do you define them?
If you're feeling particularly motivated, create a mindmap/concept map (or text table) of PLN/PLE and share in this discussion forum...

So far and according with which I have read and my personal experience, a PLE is a system in which an individual acquires knwoledge by way of trying to solve projects. The process requires: research, critical thinking, to redefine objectives, planning, scheduling, monitoring, optimization of time and quality, finishing the project and evaluation.
PLN is part of the PLE and includes web2.0 tools that allow us to participate in networks

Para comprender lo qué es un PLE la variedad de ejemplos positivos y la categorización que se presenta en Scott Leslie's Mother of All PLE Diagram Compilation es genial
De inicio yo pensaba que se trataba de sólo organización de las herramientas, luego me di cuenta que me podía ir creciendo, incluyendo áreas de interés, fichas, bibliografías, y cursos.
Luego fue necesario incluir los servicios de comunicación, y ahora pienso que ha ido creciendo con la lógica de lo que es útil y necesario.
¿qué podría ser un ejemplo negativo de PLE?,
Un PLE no es:
• Un curso en LMS
• Un sistema de tutor inteligente
• Un objeto de aprendizaj

Yo considero que PLE no es:
individualista; Ortodoxo: Inflexible: Lineal; Estático
PLE de acuerdo al material que he leido en este día (que por cierto ha sido abundante) es una forma de pensar y actuar en un ambiente que nosotros creamos y que nos sirve para tratar de alcanzar una meta. En el proceso nuevas metas y conocimientos se van adquiriendo a traves de la investigación, reflexíon. análisis, procesamiento y síntesis de los datos estudiados, lo cual de acuerdo con Stephen y George es lo más importante en nuestro PLE.
